🏘️ Neighborhood Health Hubs
Nurses & Neighbors began with seven nurses living in the same neighborhood in southern Delaware—literally next door to one another. Our growth since then has been rooted in trust: with our neighbors, within communities, and among local partners.
🏥 Homelessness
Our first project to gain momentum was a wellness clinic for the unhoused, developed in partnership with the Community Resource Center in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This initiative shaped our hands-on, nurse-led model of care.

🚐 Health & Mobility
The Nursing-Transportation Partnership is our most complex—and fastest-growing—initiative. With support from the AARP Community Challenge and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware, we are working to close health care gaps by improving access to transportation and mobility supports.
This project is gaining statewide and national interest. We are actively engaging stakeholders across Delaware—including health systems, transportation providers, and policymakers—to build sustainable, community-based solutions.
